We appreciate that as a self employed business, your efforts will be directed on managing the business to maximise turnover and profits. At the end of a long day, you may not wish to be faced with a pile of paperwork and we often find that book-keeping is low on the list of priorities. However, the basis to the preparation of any set of accounts is a good book-keeping system.
We are happy to provide to all new clients 30 minutes of book-keeping advice, which we would not charge for. We will advise on a system which meets the needs of the individual business and we will not necessary recommend the use of a computerised system where it is not, in fact, cost efficient or beneficial.
We are happy to provide ongoing advice with regard to book-keeping for existing clients. In particular, once we have completed a set of accounts for any particular year, we do review the book-keeping and advise the client of any improvements which may be made, which would, in turn, reduce our time and thus our fees.
We are able to recommend a self employed book-keeper. We are also able to provide a book-keeping service. However, we will always make it clear that it is much more cost efficient for the client to complete their own book-keeping exercise.
